Care – carelessness and misconduct

Recently, we have witnessed reports of misconduct by many doctors and nurses. Shocking because it may be negligence and the drawbacks are rising at an alarming rate. As a medical professional and has sworn in to effect Hippocrates, it is very shameful and dangerous for licensed professionals.

In general, the drawbacks of care are the result of professional negligence, which causes physical and mental harm to the patient under care. Mistakes in surgery, baby delivery, medication, etc. are some of the mistakes the nursing department has witnessed. Often, the basic legal issues in wrongdoing are the same as ordinary neglect.

The four main contents of nursing violations are as follows:

Standard of care:

  1. The standard of care usually refers to what a reasonable nurse will do under certain circumstances and under certain circumstances. For the former nurse, if she observes that the patient's saline is about to run out, the vent bag will be replaced immediately and the new vent bag will be replaced.

  2. Through a variety of care programs, nurses can identify common clinical problems and symptoms. The care plan also updates nurses with the latest practice and professional standards to help nurses.

  3. Some of the mistakes in nursing misconduct include abuse of medical equipment, drug errors, documentation errors, and failure to implement the necessary agreements.

Responsibilities: The laws of the Samaritans stipulate the duties of any nurse. He/she is responsible for caring for the patient with the greatest abilities, skills and knowledge, but only after receiving a valid referral/approval from the ER or other care department.

Legal causality: When it is confirmed that a violation of the standard of care causes bodily harm and/or emotional damage to the patient being cared for, the legal cause of negligence of care arises.

Damages: Damages, including death, disability, long-term pain, malformation or hospitalization costs, are usually used by the client's attorney/lawyer.
