There are many things that can create learning problems for children. Learning disabilities, medical barriers and stress can all work. Obesity is also ok.
Bullyingfrom
There are many things that can make a child a target for bullies. Most of us have talked to them about something. I wear glasses and are very thin, so I call four eyes and cardamom. The same is true for overweight and/or obese children.
This kind of teasing can focus on correcting the problem, using comfortable food… or both. If the mind is occupied by other activities, such as avoiding bullying, it is difficult to concentrate on class.
Self-esteemfrom
: Overweight children can see it in the mirror. It is obvious when buying school uniforms. It whispered on the playground. This inhibits self-esteem. Those with low self-esteem think that they can never do anything right, and may feel "why is this so troublesome?" in the classroom.
Not afraid to askfrom
In addition to the first two questions, overweight children may be afraid to ask questions in class. They don't want to pay more attention to themselves. Without a question, I missed an important opportunity to learn something and it will appear on the test scores.
Can we help you?from
? The school is now cracking down on bullying children. There are too many children trying or committing suicide. If you see your child being bullied or the victim is your child, please contact the school.
Find something that a child can do well. Let them work on it. Praise them when they reach their goals. Gently correct as needed. Having talent or skills can greatly enhance your self-esteem.
Talk to the teacher, especially in classes with low grades. Find out how children can learn to learn without causing attention to their children. This also applies to other areas; I know because one of our children doesn't want to ask questions in class. The teacher helped me with her.
Although we do want our overweight children to reach the right weight, we also need to focus on their education. Losing weight is not a quick thing, and the school is also very fast.
