Almost everyone has experienced a headache. Some people feel nervous or nervous. Others have a headache in the sinus. Still others have migraine headaches and some experience with cluster headaches.
I want to give you some ideas on how to avoid headaches. Or, if you have a headache, how to get relief.
In general, mild headaches every year, although annoying, are usually not serious. However, some people have headaches several times a month, or every week, or even every day, which is absolutely not normal.
Sometimes the head is just above the neck or in the temple area, or there is a headache around the forehead or around the eyes.
Because headaches affect many people, I want to give you some ideas to reduce the impact of headaches, so that you can live a happier, healthier life.
First of all, headaches may be caused by neck pressure. Our poor head and neck posture or the long knees in our head and neck can cause headaches. When you get up and relax, make sure your head and neck are in good posture, as you sit and sleep.
Second, some headaches are caused by food, dehydration, activity or conditions. Look for certain foods and beverages such as cheese, chocolate, coffee and wine to see if they are related to headaches. Make sure you drink a lot of water all day, because dehydration can cause headaches for some of us.
Also check to see if you have a headache at some point during the day. If you have a headache when you wake up in the morning, maybe your pillow can't provide proper support for your neck. If you have a headache in the afternoon or evening, maybe your sleep is not enough. Some headaches may be caused by sleep deprivation.
Third, only a small percentage of headaches are due to potential illness or injury. Most headaches are caused by stimulation of the upper muscles and nerves of the neck. By eliminating irritation to muscles and nerves, many people have found relief or even eliminated their headaches. In our office, we have many programs for this type of help.
