Reiki energy therapy effectively relieves pain

The Science Daily recently published a review of a new study examining biotherapeutic therapies, such as Reiki, Respiratory Therapy, and Therapeutic Tactile Therapy, conducted by Dr. Shamini Jain of the Cancer Department of the University of California, Los Angeles, entitled "Biotherapy Therapy: Useful or Hype?" Prevention and Control Research, and Dr. Paul Mills from the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California and the Moores Comprehensive Cancer Center in San Diego. The study found that these biotherapies, such as Reiki, showed "promising complementary interventions that can reduce the pain levels of many diseases, reduce anxiety in hospitalized patients, and reduce the stimulating behavior of dementia beyond what standard treatment can achieve." In addition, the researchers found "strong evidence that biofield therapy can reduce the pain intensity of free-living people, and there is moderate evidence that they can effectively reduce pain in hospitalized and cancer patients."

As a Master of Reiki, I have seen quite clear and measurable pain relief in my practice when working with clients, including chronic pain and fibromyalgia with existing injuries, and postoperative pain. I am happy to see that the evidence is the result of a clinical study.

To further demonstrate Aura's ability to relieve pain and promote treatment, I would like to share a client's recent experience of receiving aura. [A second- or higher-level Aura practitioners have been trained to pass Aura to others without being present. But Laurie tore the meniscus on the right knee, the resulting pain and swelling make her very Difficult to move around. There is no routine treatment for her injuries – painkillers, steroids and cortisone injections – providing a lot of relief. She lives in Florida, so I can't treat her personally. Instead, we agree to stay in the week I gave her aura for a few nights.

After our first meeting, I asked Laurie if she noticed any difference, and she reported that her knees felt warm and at some point it actually felt like someone or something was manipulating it. . The next day, she sent me a text message saying that her knees felt better than a few weeks. After several meetings, Laurie's treatment was very deep. She wrote in her recommendation: "I can get up and do all the normal activities – this is something I have been unable to do for months!" She is actually I was impressed with the results of learning how to do reiki.

As with any complementary therapy, individual reactions may vary, but many people like Laurie use Reiki and other biological therapies to treat pain due to physical or medical conditions. In Laurie's case, her doctor recommended surgery. It will be interesting to see if continuing Reiki and physical rehabilitation can completely heal the knee without surgery. The inclusion of biotherapeutic therapies such as Reiki in a clinical setting may be a welcome presence and may reduce the amount of medication or other intervention required to maintain patient stability and comfort during the healing process.
