Scuba diving signal

The dive signal is a communication that the diver uses underwater by hand because it is impossible to communicate underwater without special and expensive equipment.

I don't realize that people use a lot of hands or body postures to express themselves. The act of shrugging like "I don't know", nodding is "yes", shaking your head "no" is very common in our society. Couples who have lived together for a while can communicate with the body, eyes and hands, and they don't need to talk to understand each other.

All the signals are created to better understand the information between the divers, because it is dangerous to go to the surface every time, sometimes there is no time to write everything on the slate. In the early days of scuba diving, military divers also introduced these signals.

In addition to gesture signals used underwater, divers on the ground use other dive signals or devices to communicate.
