In 1971, Tom Morey built the first of millions of motherboards built and sold in the world. He named it the Morey Boogie Board. To this day, most male bodybuilders still call them surfboards and are the most popular surfboards of all time.

Thanks to this amazing little board, millions of people have already rode their first wave. Today on any shoreline, you will see children and adults of all ages riding these fun little boards. Although there are many different sizes, the original size is 421⁄2". Tom Morey said that he came up with this size because the post office has size restrictions and there is no extra box for this size.

I should explain here that a bodyboard is not really a board. They are often referred to as "sponges" because they are made of foam. The most common materials used to make body panels are polyethylene foam as the core, deck and side rails, and the bottom is made of serlyn hard and smooth foam.
