Our health
When I was doing M.B.B.S, I was exposed to a variety of diseases and their "modern treatment systems." "Treatment", they can produce various diseases themselves, and then treat… the cycle continues. There is a certain degree of disillusionment, because when you enter medical school, you want to miraculously transform into a therapeutic machine. In fact, we just understand that humans cannot solve most of the health problems that exist today. Even after years of research, medical practice, at least in small centers, is still Hit&Trial.
I do not imply that, as we know, other people's therapies or modern medical systems are ineffective. In fact, thanks to this evolving system, we have been able to reduce morbidity, mortality, prevent the spread of epidemics and more. I can't comprehensively and effectively solve chronic diseases such as osteoarthritis, autoimmune diseases, and metabolic diseases such as diabetes. In these diseases, the antagonistic treatment is still inhibitory, not curative, and the drug sometimes produces a more serious effect than the disease!
I think the answer lies in preventive medicine. Preventive medicine is a general term for a range of things, ranging from adopting healthier lifestyles, regular exercise, no smoking, to more complex specific preventions, such as observing specific fasting or specific diets for various diseases.
In addition to prevention, holistic treatments should be used to combine other treatment branches such as natural therapy, Ayurveda, Aura, and acupuncture.
