Most people will agree to the food to make them happy – but do you know that there is real science behind it? Some foods can really boost your mood, I want to share some food with you. It is important to note that our intestines are our second brain, so when we take care of it by eating a healthy diet, we generally feel better. It is estimated that 90% of our serotonin is produced in our digestive system, so we are happy.

Here are some of my favorite foods that promote emotions…

dark chocolate. from

 You may think that chocolate makes you happier, but now it has been scientifically proven. It is proven that eating dark chocolate every day will lower your stress hormone levels and will make you happier. This is not a free pass to eat countless chocolates, but a small piece won't hurt – in fact, it can actually help!

fruits and vegetables. from

  All nutrients, vitamins and minerals from a lifestyle full of vegetables and fruits allow you to release neurotransmitters that make you happy. Therefore, incorporating this rainbow food into your life is very important to your mood and health.

Fat fish. from

Omega 3 from fat-rich fish rich in wild salmon and tuna gives your body the nutrients you need to reduce stress, relax and be happy. Another benefit of omega-3 is its powerful anti-inflammatory properties. If it can help you relieve pain, then this can increase your mood.

Saffron. from

 Have you heard of saffron before? Saffron is a spice from India. Studies conducted have shown that only a little saffron per day makes it easier for the brain to obtain serotonin. Saffron has also been shown to help alleviate PMS symptoms.

In addition to eating foods that promote mood, you can also work hard to get more emotional boost benefits. Endorphins released during exercise have a powerful effect that lasts for a whole day and gives you success. Another good habit to raise your mood is to keep a daily Thanksgiving diary. Write at least 3 things that you are grateful for and think through. When we are grateful, it will completely change our views and emotions.
