How to use acupressure to develop your intuitive skills

Although acupuncture and acupressure are the traditions of clearing energy pathways to improve health, one little-known fact is that they are also an aid to spiritual development. If you find an acupuncturist who knows how to open the mental passage is a challenge, or if you don't like the needle, you can take your own acupressure course at home or anywhere you want to go.

Known as hand pointer moxibustion, tsubo point removal and energy removal, acupressure involves finger massage or using a crystal stick to activate certain acupuncture points. In some cases, electrical stimulation is used. This provides nerve stimulation along the tsubo point of the nerve and in vivo energy pathways.

While this can balance in the body system and can lead to better spiritual connections, there are some acupoints that can effectively stimulate your intuition and mental pathways.

In order to effectively transfer energy from the cerebral cortex [essentially gray matter] to the medulla [the base of the brain is just above the spine], you should study some of the points we will discuss later. The brain [cerebral cortex] is primarily our conscious movement and activity, and the medulla is the center of our ANS – the autonomic nervous system. It is also a link to our intuitive sensitivity. Within this body area is a special energy gate that allows the flow of mental energy.

Now let's take a look at the stimulation points you will apply for acupressure. The bladder meridian, or bladder energy pathway is a bit called BL9 or Yuzhen. These points are located on either side of the occiput. Bone found on the back of the bone and at the base of the skull. Then you put your finger on the back of the head, usually you will find a slight dent in the correct position, if you draw an imaginary line at the top of the ear, then you will be in the proper position.

Gently massaging these acupuncture points and applying a slight pressure for about 30 seconds will help create a subconscious mind that transforms from an active mind to a medulla and enhances intuitive function. It slows down metabolism and the respiratory system and can be a trigger for your ability to transfer consciousness quickly and easily. If the energy flow in this area is very poor, you may feel a slight soreness.

Two more dynamic pathways are important for developing intuitive channels, concepts and managing meridians. The meridian flows through the head from above the spine and ends at the top of the lips. The concept meridian flows upward from the front of the body and ends at the tip of the tongue. They are connected at the base of the body in a place called Huiyin. It is located between the anus and the genitals of the perineum. When stimulated, it forms a connection between the two meridians and stimulates the third eye and other intuitive channels. Another way to stimulate this is through the Kegel movement known to most women. This is not as effective as direct acupressure, but it is easy to practice no matter where you are. Although either stimulating the point where Kegel contracts, place the top of the tongue against the top of the mouth behind the front teeth. This helps to link the two circuits.

Connecting these circuits can stimulate intuitive capabilities and is also recommended in some yoga and meditation practices.
