Natural chronic pain relief using a combination cross – home or office interference device

Both the tenacity and the interfering unit are used to block pain signals on the sensory nerve pathway and are often used as natural and effective pain control. Interference stimuli are different from TENS because it allows more efficient currents in the tissue to penetrate deeper, more comfortable [compliance] and increase circulation. ' For example, at a frequency of 4,000 Hz [interference unit], the capacitive skin resistance is eighty [80] times lower than the frequency of 50 Hz [within the TENS range].

TENS [transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation] is designed to stimulate sensory nerve endings to reduce pain. Stimulation prevents pain signals from passing through the nerves to the central nervous system. There are many articles that also say that TENS produces excessive amounts of natural painkillers, which control pain, but in fact this TENS method is rarely effective. TENS blocks the pain signal of the brain/spinal cord. TENS stimulation is characterized by biphasic [positive/negative] equilibrium charge and user selectable pulse width and pulse rate.

Interference therapy [IF / IFC] is often described as "deep TENS." Interference therapy is two high frequencies, each with 4,000 cycles, overlapping, producing more than 8,000 pulses per second in the affected area. This allows the current to penetrate deeper into the tissue. The extra frequency allows frequencies above 8,000, [1-150] the benefits of low frequency stimulation, without the uncomfortable effects of TENS. Interfering therapy not only relieves pain but also accelerates healing, increases blood flow and reduces edema.

The basic goal of interfering current therapy is to give a pleasant sensation during treatment and achieve deeper tissue penetration, allowing for pain relief. The uncomfortable feeling felt by many patients who use TENS is due to the skin's resistance to the current passing through. The degree of discomfort is inversely proportional to the frequency of the stimulus. Therefore, the lower the frequency applied, the greater the perceived discomfort. Interference current therapy uses two intermediate frequencies simultaneously, causing their paths to cross and interfere with each other. Interference between them results in a change in modulation frequency that has the same therapeutic effect as low frequency stimulation, but without the unpleasant sensation or normal side effects of discomfort.

Interfering therapy is safe and has no side effects. Although interference therapy is very effective, it can cause minimal skin sensation and discomfort associated with electrical stimulation.

Tens has been considered effective for decades, and almost all major insurance companies pay rent and purchase fees, including medical insurance [HCFA], for chronic pain. Medicare will pay for the intervention of the medical institution, but will not pay for the rental/purchase of the interfering unit. Despite the benefits in the clinical setting, many patients do not have the money to pay for interfering units. In some cases, patients can cover "DME", durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, potty seats, walking sticks, crutches and walking aids. If the patient has DME coverage, the interference can be covered in almost all cases.

The combination of TENS and IFC in one unit now means that when the unit is prescribed for chronic pain, even medical insurance will cover it. A new combination of IFC / TENS devices in both forms will open up new treatment parameters for patients because patients can rent or purchase IFC units.
