Hi, everybody! I will show you how to quickly start a personal training business.

This is the most common problem #1! In the previous question, we discussed how to determine if this is right for you. Now we can gain an in-depth understanding of the basics of building a very successful fitness business.

First, count your skills and resources. Do you know who will be interested in your service? Do you know who is related to news, media and public relations to help speak out? How can other owners who are already friendly, can you learn from them and work with them? In particular, finding a successful trainer with a great business is a great way to start your success.

Second, you need to be certified [even if it is not required by law!]. Yes, having a good certification is very important for getting started, but we will discuss it in detail later. You also need liability insurance [if you have a certification, you will receive a discount], an exemption form, a Par-Q form, and other forms to track your customers and legally protect yourself and your business.

Third, what kind of people and customers you want to serve. You may not have a clear idea right now, it doesn't matter, but remember this when you pursue a career and work with clients. A good advice is to follow your passion, whether it's fitness, weightlifting, team sports, some people, even gardening, sailing or skiing. Connecting with people you love [their goals, personality, abilities, demographics, activities, etc.] is one of the keys to success, making work fun and not boring!

Where do you want to work now? Gym? Private training studio? At home? For the training camp? These are the most common fitness jobs, but other options include working in a physiotherapist or chiropractor office, a senior center, and an after-school program or summer camp. In fact, one of the wonderful things about this industry is that there are so many people who need our help. There are many different opportunities there; there are no restrictions on the work and work environment you can create for yourself and your business.

Keep in mind that most of the trainers who just started working in the gym because it offers more structure, guidance/training and customers. Unless you already have contacts, entrepreneurial experience, loyal followers, and a lot of sports knowledge and experience, it's hard to start your own business right away.
