Phobia makes you safe. This is a strange request. Anyone with phobia can't avoid it, they know how damaging phobia is. And the fear of an object or environment that has no problems for others can at least make life uncomfortable. But let's take a look at this whole phobia problem.
Snakes, spiders and needles are very common phobias. Even chimpanzees suffer from snake phobia. It guarantees their safety. Snakes can be fatal. But the chimpanzee even marries a monkey on a hose that looks like a snake lying on the ground. So it is more meaningful to be scared by a snake than to be scared by a snake. Spiders can also be toxic, so it makes sense to give them a wide bunk. The needle is hurt, so why not want to avoid letting someone stick to you, or draw blood, or take something out.
Fear of darkness. Well, you can't see if there is any danger in the dangers of darkness and darkness [bears, wolves, lions, hyenas, plague-infested mice] have a better chance to get close to you. So it is necessary to fire all night [burning fire].
So you can already see that some phobias may have originated in our evolutionary past. Panic or screaming or general fuss is good for the entire tribal community, warning them that they are dangerous, like one or two of a group or a group of sheep will alert when they discover a predator.
The only problem is that for phobias, the reaction is a bit out of control. Its size is beyond the necessary scope, and that's it.
But then there are agricultural phobias and social phobias. A phobia like this actually makes a person's world very small and terrifying. But if you are uncertain about yourself and have low self-esteem, then phobia provides a reasonable reason to avoid going out and having to interact with others. So phobia is very uncomfortable but actually has some benefits.
The problem is, whether it is beneficial or not, when you encounter things that intimidate you, when you have to go on vacation and spend hours trapped on the plane, I believe you will die, then spend two weeks looking forward to the horror of return, you Experienced a very real hell. No matter what phobia is, when it happens, all the feelings will disappear out of the window, life will become something you can easily give up, not something that scares you.
This is a serious problem. Anything that debiliensates, anything that destroys the power of a healthy mind, rational wisdom, should be respected and taken seriously.
So what is the difference between phobia and fear? I have dealt with snakes and liked them, they are amazing creatures. But hand me the cobra, I will retreat with a hint of fear. I don't have the problem of harmless spiders crawling on me, but if a black widow climbs into my arm, I will feel very scared. This is a normal, healthy, sensible response. Panic, because you are told that there is a snake in the bag in the next room. Panic is because it is not normal for you to enter your mind with the image of a spider.
Phobia is full of your thoughts, and nothing can be eliminated except for the source of phobia. The symptoms of a person who thinks about phobia are almost the same as their actual physical presence. Usually when phobia is treated, patients are asked to rate the severity on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest level of horror they can imagine and 1 feeling a little uncomfortable. If the score is not 8 or more, then there is probably no phobia. This doesn't mean there is no problem, but it does mean that treatment may vary. Most people can deal with fears of up to level 7, higher than the fear of taking over the mind completely.
But it's all in my mind.
This is why phobia is one of the easiest problems for hypnosis therapists to fix. I will tell you as soon as possible a "skill" that we use to disrupt the image of terror. It is often referred to as a five-minute phobia treatment. Let us say that Arab phobia, a fear of spiders, is the problem. The victim was asked to paint a spider in their minds, then put on a funny hat on it, said a clown's hat with a big hole at the top. Then you can put bright yellow Wellington boots on its eight legs, maybe give it a big red nose. You can play with the images until you see a smile or a laugh. This is just a question of finding the right factor that triggers a humorous reaction. You can't laugh and be scared at the same time.
Doing so interferes with the path of thought that leads to fear reactions when encountering a spider image [imaginary or real], so neurons that used to be launched when the image is rendered cannot do this, or if no other neurons emit, causing relaxation reaction. The more images you can make, the more humorous you have, the stronger the “healing”.
