It is not uncommon to report workers or employees who are late for work. The reasons for this delay are different, from justification to the most embarrassing or ridiculous excuse. But one of the things that caught my attention more than three years ago was that a colleague was at work. He was late for work many times because he was afraid to cross the bridge. It turns out that he lives in a place he has to go through instead of two bridges to work. He quit his job in less than two months.
The above situation is a simple phobia – usually defined as compulsive, meaningless, persistent, and intensely fearful of a particular object or situation. Simple phobias are common; however, they rarely interfere with everyday life. People affected by any one different type of phobia are consciously aware of the actual dangers that are about to occur. They can usually also be scheduled to avoid the objects [or situations] they are most afraid of. Obviously, this is impossible under the special circumstances of my former colleague. However, recently, I met him at a car show and mentioned that he completely got rid of his phobia – this will be explained at the end of this article.
Often, phobia occurs in a neuropathy that may force people to change his lifestyle to avoid situations or situations that trigger his phobia. Phobia is usually specific; some of the most common phobias are: fear of heights [high fear]; square phobia [fear of leaving a familiar home environment, in crowded or public places]; claustrophobia [fear of closed space] ; phobia [fear of bacteria and dirt]; and xenophobia [fear of strangers].
Some people suffer from social phobias; they are far from social situations because they are afraid of being humiliated or embarrassed. Many people with phobias are isolated at home if left untreated. Phobia represents a reservation for some unresolved conflicts. It is believed that certain phobias are a symbol of this conflict, to the extent that the affected person places the real conflict outside his consciousness by focusing on phobia.
In a recent accidental encounter, the person I mentioned at the beginning of this article who had worked for a colleague told me that he had completely cured his phobia. According to him, he took a specific, step-by-step treatment plan that he did not exceed ten minutes a day because his condition was successfully remedied. People with phobias of any kind of different phobias can certainly benefit from this very valuable treatment plan.
