Five benefits of Pilates pad exercise
Pilates movement is a worldwide phenomenon, Popular with the general public and elite athletes. The simple reason is that Pilates works differently than other fitness methods. Here are the top five benefits of this amazing technology.
No equipment. Pilates pad exercise uses your body's resistance. According to a recent survey by the American College of Sports Medicine, this return-based campaign is now the best fitness trend.
Pilates pad exercise is one of the few fitness methods that use your body's resistance. This freedom from any device or gym means you can do it anytime and anywhere – perfect for our growing mobile lifestyle!
Mat exercises are original Pilates training. Interestingly, the special equipment you found in the Pilates studio was originally created by Joseph Pilates because of the inability to practice mats due to disability, illness or injury. This is not a criticism of Pilates machines or any other type of sports equipment, but if you want a fabulous workout without equipment, Pilates pads are perfect for you!
Breathe. Joseph Pilates emphasizes breathing, and each Pilates pad movement has a breathing pattern. The large, inflated breath combines with precise, controlled and fluid motion for a truly inspiring experience. After Pilates exercise, you feel energetic rather than exhausted!
Complete exercise. According to fitness studies, the body needs three different types of exercise – strength training, stretching and cardiovascular conditioning [better known as aerobic exercise]. You need all these exercises, because none of them will keep you healthy.
The reason is that men and women begin to lose muscle tissue throughout the age of about 30 years old. You need strength training to restore muscle tissue. Aerobics and stretching do not do this. On the other hand, you need aerobic exercise to keep your heart healthy, while stretching and strength training are not available. Finally, you need to stretch flexibility – yes, you guessed it – strength training and aerobics won't do it.
The fitness method that combines all three exercises is called a complete exercise technique. Pilates mat practice is not only a complete method at the advanced level, but also one of the few exercise methods.
Healthy joints. Pilates has no harsh movements. This can prevent damage to your joints. The movement is controlled, precise and fluid. This healthy joint movement means that Pilates is what you can do for the rest of your life! For many of the exercises we like to do, such as running and hiking, you can't say this, just to name a few exercises that cause joint wear.
Relieve most back problems. About 100 years ago, Pilates discovered that by strengthening the muscles around the center of the body – often referred to as the core muscles – most back problems disappear. Today doctors believe that most back problems can be improved by exercise rather than surgery or drugs. This is one of the reasons why I call Joseph Pilates a fitness Einstein. His practice and core strength principles are widely used by physiotherapists and trainers around the world.
Now that you know the benefits of Pilates, it's time to try. Pilates will change your life!
