Pilates benefits introduction

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a method of exercise and body movement designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Pilates uses systematic exercises with specific exercises and breathing techniques to increase body awareness, increase flexibility and range of joint activity, and improve and change body posture and alignment.

Unlike traditional fitness programs for physical fatigue and overuse, Pilates is a holistic form of body conditioning that rejuvenates your body and mind.

Pilates can bring many benefits through regular practice:

* Increase and create a balance between strength and flexibility, especially the abdomen and back muscles

* Improve posture, balance and core strength

* Improve coordination, dynamic stability and body awareness

* Improve bone density and joint health

* Increase lung capacity and circulation

*release stress

* Promote injury prevention

* Improve the performance skills of athletes and dancers

How to start a Pilates exercise?

Preparing for Pilates exercises is essential because it will give you all the health benefits of exercise and breathing. The biggest advantage of Pilates is that it can be practiced in almost any age group.

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose, stretchable clothes as this allows the body to move freely. It is essential to practice Pilates on a relatively fast stomach or practice Pilates about one to two hours after a full meal. Exercise and breathing immediately after eating or drinking can put pressure on the digestive system. In addition, create a space that is not distracting and soothing in spirit.

Always start with easier movements to warm and condition your body and then gradually move into more energetic movements. Avoid any feeling of nervousness, discomfort or excessive fatigue. For the purpose of quality and control rather than the practice of quantity and struggle. If you need to, let yourself have time to relax or modify the exercise. All aspects of Pilates practice are equally important, so take some time to enjoy the whole exercise.

If you are practicing Pilates with a DVD, preview the video exercises before the show to familiarize yourself with the practice and practice levels. This also gives you time to collect any suggested items and materials. Always choose the exercise that is right for your experience. If you have any previous or current health problems [ie heart or circulatory disease, respiratory disease, muscle or joint problems, pregnancy, diabetes, smoking], we strongly recommend that you consult a qualified doctor before practicing Pilates. When performing a posture, maintain awareness of each movement and alignment within each posture. Remember to avoid listening to your body for strain or fatigue.
