Why TRX suspension training is a compliment to Pilates exercise

The traditional Pilates studio is equipped with a variety of Pilates equipment. Almost always find a reformer, Cadillac, foot chair, mat, ring and possibly ladder bucket, tower, pedal and spine aligner. These are the main pillars of the Pilates studio. But now, you may see some new devices entering the studio and TRX is one of them.

Suspension of training is all the rage. Designed for training military personnel in the field, it requires very little space, is inexpensive, and offers a unique workout. On the day of the core intensive training, the TRX suspension training is supreme.

The TRX looks like two straps hanging from the ceiling. The attachment is easy because the TRX can be hung from the door frame or the tree in the park. The customer keeps his weight against the movement of the belt. They carry out various exercises such as walking, squatting, planks and spears. The core job is to try to stabilize the two bands. Think about the man's gymnastic ring. This is the same work philosophy. TRX is applied to the abdominal muscles, back, shoulders, arms and lower body. In other words, this is a full body workout.

So why do I think this is the perfect match for Pilates? For all these reasons. There are many similarities between workouts, including full-body exercise, not part of it, balance, developing core strength, and the ability to understand your body's position in space. TRX suspension training is the perfect complement to any Pilates training.

But not every Pilates practitioner will agree. Pilates purists will find it unnecessary to add extra things to their already challenging Pilates training. But I firmly believe that Joseph Pilates will accept it. He is innovative, intelligent, and constantly improving. If he lived long enough, he could have invented the suspension training himself.

The times are changing. Need to change. The need for continuous improvement is the need to move on and learn new ways to move and exercise. Adding pause training to your Pilates training can enhance what you are already doing. It won't replace it. Just make it better.

So don't miss the opportunity to improve your skills and strength. TRX suspension training is a new and important addition to any workout, but I promise you will see it appear in the gym, fitness club, yes, Pilates studio. And we will all be better.
