Quit smoking and nature's help

Smoking is very dangerous to your health. Most smokers think that there is nothing they have not tried to quit. However, they may not be aware of the many natural means that others use to end this very destructive habit. If you plan, clean and support your body and use natural methods to treat nicotine cravings, you can quit smoking.

Most, if not all, Americans think smoking is unhealthy. Why do people smoke? The answer lies in the addictive nature of nicotine. More than 80% of smokers claim that they want to quit and plan to do so at some point. Even heroin addicts admit that nicotine is indeed the most difficult drug abuse habit. [Haas, p. 964]

Almost one-third of cases of pancreatic cancer can be attributed to smoking. Most lung cancer is caused by smoking. [Smokers are 5 to 10 times more likely to develop lung cancer than non-smokers]. The more you smoke each day, the sooner you start smoking, the greater the risk of lung cancer.

Smoking children have an increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome, respiratory infections and lung cancer.

“Children with asthma, bronchitis, colds and ear infections have a much higher incidence and severity. Their lung development is impaired and lung function tests are reduced.” American Journal of Public Health, p. 209, February 1989]

If you eat a balanced diet, drink plenty of water and take vitamin supplements every day, you may feel that you are generally healthy. However, if you smoke, this is usually not the case. Severe smokers cannot benefit from a healthy diet. The level of vitamin C in the blood of smokers is much lower. Zinc, vitamin A and folic acid are usually consumed in smokers.

Now that we have covered some of the negative effects of smoking on the body, let us figure out how to quit smoking – and no drugs! You may be surprised that there is a way to get rid of this terrible addiction without using prescription drugs for help.

Let us now introduce some ideas on how to actually quit smoking.

Have you tried to quit and failed before? Have you quit for a while and start over? You may feel that because you tried and failed, it proves that you can't give up. However, this is not the case. In fact, you will earn points each time you try to quit. Every time you try, you will inevitably learn something that will bring you closer to quitting smoking. Most smokers did not do this on their first attempt. So just imagine it as your "practice"! [3]

A major part of the cessation program is to figure out which interventions to use when you are smoking. Try to avoid being with other smokers. Learn some deep breathing exercises that can be used for decompression. Exercise is also a great way to limit stress and keep you busy.

Once you decide to quit smoking, the thing to consider is how to excrete toxins. One theory holds that many dependencies originate in the liver. Cleaning and detoxifying the liver is the cruel first step in breaking these addictions. Detoxifying the liver will reduce the desire for nicotine. [ESP, p. 279]

You can use Echinacea to help flush the lymphatic system and the nicotine in the lungs. Vitamin C is an important chelating agent for toxic substances in the body. [This means it will “catch” the offenders and flush them through the waste system]. The usual C dose is 1000 mg four times a day. N-acetylcysteine 1000 mg, two doses of glutamine 1000 mg, four evening primrose oil and 20 tablets of Sun Health Chlorella are a good regimine used to eliminate nicotine toxicity in the body. [p. 548]

At your time of detoxification and smoking cessation, it is important that you “avoid junk food and sugar to exacerbate your cravings” [p. 54]. Ginseng can help you normalize your sugar cravings, as does stevia, stevia or FOS. Trace minerals and mineral deficiencies may play a role in certain addictions. When trying to quit smoking, the diet should include magnesium, potassium, calcium and zinc. [ESP, p. 279]

The main problem when quitting smoking is the desire for tobacco! There are many options on this issue. Essential oils, vitamins and herbal teas are listed in the list of items in the “Hunger” category.

It is said that eating a diet that promotes alkalinity of the body shows a desire for tobacco. To calm your nerves, try 800 mg of magnesium per day, 100 mg of pressure B complex per day, and sedge/wild lettuce drip into the water. [Page, p. 548] Young Living Essential Oil provides a mixture called “Peace and Calm.” According to some people, this is what they need during smoking cessation.

Many people also report that clove oil is very effective in the war of nicotine cravings. In Stanley Burrough's "Master Cleanser," he said: "For those who want to quit, put a small amount [clove oil] on your finger – put it behind your tongue and you will immediately lose your desire If you really want to quit smoking, this is an easy way. "It is reported that peppermint oil is also effective. Just a little bit on the tongue, just like applying a coil of heart oil.

In addition to cabbage and mint, the single oils that may help to quit are cinnamon and nutmeg. Other blends recommended for reducing addictive behavior are Harmony, Thieves, Exodus II, Peace and Calming, JuvaCleanse and JuvaFlex. These can be inhaled or spread directly, applied topically to the temples and/or the nape of the neck four times a day, or used as a warm compress on the liver.

Quitting smoking is not an easy task. However, if you give your body the right tools, you can fix the damage caused by smoking, you can reduce your desire, you can quit! Try some of these simple, natural and effective helpers. Nature is the best medicine, so believe in yourself and see it happen!
