You are afraid of failure. If you try to quit smoking and fail, you may feel that you can never quit. This fear of failure can lead you to not even try.

You will do it again. For some people, quitting smoking is not that difficult. So you will eventually return to smoking, thinking that you will do it at other times. But other times will never come.

Once you overcome these psychological barriers, you will be more likely to quit.
