Have you heard "What are you eating?" I believe you have it.
When I gave up Western medicine to solve my Graves and later Hashimoto's disease, I turned to diet. This is not a simple process. I struggled to test the food for a long time and found that the diet really affected the thyroid gland.
I found out which foods were removed from my diet and what foods were needed to treat and maintain a healthy thyroid gland. Now I want to introduce:
Add food to my life to strengthen my immune system and detoxify the body and help the thyroid
Nutritious food
Nutritionally intensive foods provide a good proportion of all key macro and micro nutrients.
Some tips:
o always organic, they are more nutritious and contain no hormones known to disrupt the endocrine system
o Meat must be at least organic, but it is best to raise it on the pasture. We want to eliminate antibiotics and growth hormone from our diet.
o Traditionally fermented foods such as sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir, homemade yogurt, and Kombucha are rich in probiotics.
Protein and fat
They are the cornerstone of the digestive tract and hormones. We are obese in the United States, and the low-fat diet is one of the worst things we invented. Europeans and Asians have a fat-rich diet [traditionally] and enjoy better health than we do. Good fat tips: avocado, walnut, coconut oil, coconut oil. Animal fat is the best choice for restoring troublesome digestion; ghee [clarified butter], butter, chicken and beef fat are essential but need to be supplied instead of fried/processed form.
Probiotics
Probiotics are the key to restoring the digestive tract
Everyone has bacteria in the digestive tract or intestines, which is essential for the function of the human body. A healthy adult has about 1.5-2 kg of bacteria in the intestines, good or bad. Normal levels of bacteria or flora in the gut can prevent invaders, undigested food, toxins and parasites. When good bacteria and bad bacteria in the intestines get out of trouble [ie better than bad], many negative reactions can occur in the body. Undigested food can penetrate into the bloodstream, causing food allergies and intolerance, vitamins and minerals are not absorbed, resulting in a deficiency, bad bacteria produce a lot of toxins, and the immune system does not function properly.
Here are some examples of traditional fermented foods that you can add to your diet:
o Sauerkraut [choose proper fermentation, not vinegar]
o Kim chee [Korea fermented vegetables]
o yogurt
o Kefir [different bacteria with yogurt, very beneficial]
o Kombucha
o Vegetable mix [fermentation]
o Coconut Water Kefir

This is good for the thyroid
Although I really like to get these foods from real food as much as possible. Because many people over-medicate and later feel worse, it is difficult to give hints here. Hope these tips are helpful; they apply to most autoimmune conditions [this is done by my natural remedies, focusing on hormones and thyroid health]:
-
Most people are deficient in vitamin D. It is safe to take a vitamin D 2000 unit because vitamin D is actually a hormone that is connected to the thyroid gland.
-
Calcium is the key, but it needs to be fully absorbed with magnesium.
-
Hypothyroidism: selenium, turmeric/curcumin, phytosterols and gastrointestinal support; probiotics and L-glutamine are key.
-
For hyperthyroidism: copper and magnesium are common defects in patients with hypertension.
Simple meditation, breathing and visualization from
Manage stress and emotional skills.
I can't stress how important this is, especially for people with hyperthyroidism. We underestimate the impact of stress and emotions on us; every outbreak of anger, guilt, fear, hostility, convulsions, etc. will trigger the adrenal gland that releases cortisol, which has an adverse effect on the thyroid gland.
Exercise plan
Whether it is exercise, dance, yoga, you will not be able to consume your adrenal gland and thyroid gland, but also bring you a sense of accomplishment and happiness.
balance
Balance according to your biological personality
No one's diet/plan is suitable for everyone because everyone has a unique treatment. There is a saying that "one's food is another person's poison." It is always worth remembering that just because a diet is suitable for one person does not mean that it is also suitable for you. The same person can cure their thyroid by changing the water filter [by removing fluoride], while the other person needs to implement five major dietary and lifestyle changes to start feeling better. Let us respect our differences.
