Scuba diving – trivia

Scuba diving is on my list, and since I was near retirement in the summer of 2013, I think it's time to cross it out. When I took part in my first dive course, I quickly learned that many diving instructors said it was true – water is not the natural environment of mankind. So, I am a bit worried about completing this certification.

After doing some basic research on local diving teaching opportunities, I chose a dive shop in Salt Lake City, only 20 minutes drive from my home. The reason I chose them was because the owner Lori had a calming effect on my anxiety. She also suggested a coach who was almost the same age as me, which further reduced my fear.

I actively completed my academic work and completed a good pool training. Open water certification is done in the "inland waters" of salt water west of Salt Lake City. I have learned the basics and now I am a certified but still uncomfortable diver.

I know that I have to master these skills…

Diver safety light

Every year, divers around the world get lost at sea, and some people will eventually die or never find it. Most of these divers have signed up for a dive trip on a cruise ship, and their lives have gone through a much worse experience due to lack of experience, lack of common sense, negligence and simple luck.

Many of these divers are washed away by the water, separated from other divers or encounter adverse underwater conditions that affect their sense of direction and time. The problem is that in third world countries, cruise operators may not care much about the safety of divers rather than completing them on time. If you have a problem, no lawyer can sue someone.

Basically you are alone, or if you are diving with someone, then you must pay attention to each other during the entire dive. I did a dive in the Bahamas a few years ago. When I cleaned my ears, the dive master and three divers disappeared when I reached the bottom of the valley…

Basic scuba diving equipment

The need for scuba diving equipment is a safe and comfortable experience for exploring the underwater world. Diving equipment can help you transition from land to marine life. The basic requirements for diving underwater are clear vision, swimming and breathing. In addition to this, you also need to maintain a comfortable temperature.

Now let's take a look at some basic diving equipment:

1. Scuba diving:

It is a self-contained underwater respirator. This allows the diver to move freely under the water. He can breathe independently of the underwater surface supply. The device consists essentially of a submersible, which is a high pressure cylinder that holds a large amount of compressed air.

2. Contact protection:

When diving underwater, divers need to be waterproof to prevent scratches/cuts. This is provided by wet clothes, dry suits and body suits.

3. Diving mask:

Diving masks are an important part of scuba diving equipment. you…

Scuba diving signal

The dive signal is a communication that the diver uses underwater by hand because it is impossible to communicate underwater without special and expensive equipment.

I don't realize that people use a lot of hands or body postures to express themselves. The act of shrugging like "I don't know", nodding is "yes", shaking your head "no" is very common in our society. Couples who have lived together for a while can communicate with the body, eyes and hands, and they don't need to talk to understand each other.

All the signals are created to better understand the information between the divers, because it is dangerous to go to the surface every time, sometimes there is no time to write everything on the slate. In the early days of scuba diving, military divers also introduced these signals.

In addition to gesture signals used underwater, divers on the ground use other dive signals or devices to communicate.

Necessary scuba diving equipment

Scuba diving is the art of underwater diving. Divers use a scuba diving device called scuba diving to help breathe underwater. This is different from other types of diving, such as breathing or breathing from the surface provided. Scuba divers carry their own source of breathing gas, giving them greater freedom of movement.

The following is a list of equipment used for scuba diving:

Respiratory equipment

Divers use this equipment to help them breathe underwater. It is carried underwater by the diver himself. There are two types of mask half masks and full face masks. Casual divers use a half mask that covers the eyes and nose of the diver, as well as a mouthpiece that supplies breathing gas from the respirator. Professional divers use a full face mask that protects the diver's airway if the diver loses consciousness.

Open diving

Open submersibles do not use breathing gas for more than one breath. gas……
